VoIP & Internet Telephony
MKJC has been our service provider for telephone and internet since 2007. The company introduced VoIP telephony in our offices and optimised the Wi-Fi. We used to have hybrid connections; now everything runs virtually and server-based. Through a 2021 upgrade, the phone system became even more powerful and failover-reliable. What I particularly appreciate about MKJC is the attitude: "can't be done" doesn't exist! Our points of contact always find solutions for technical problems, so that everything could be implemented as we wished. The applications we booked have proven themselves, work flawlessly, and the staff are happy with how they are used. The biggest improvement since the start of our cooperation is that we no longer have to worry. We know that we will be helped quickly and competently.
Project overview
The notary's office of Dr Hansjörg Heller and Dr Michael Grötsch is one of the most demanding IT environments in the liberal professions. As notaries, the partners handle highly sensitive documents every day, certify contracts and conduct legally binding discussions – uninterrupted and reliable telecommunications are therefore a basic prerequisite. MKJC has supported the notary's office as a service provider for telephony and internet since 2007 and has continuously developed the communication infrastructure ever since.
The challenge
When the notary's office commissioned MKJC in 2007, it was still working with classic hybrid connections – a mixture of ISDN and analogue lines. This technology was maintenance-intensive, expensive and offered no flexibility for modern requirements such as home office, mobile reachability or cross-site working. In addition, the Wi-Fi in the office was unreliable, which made the daily work with digital documents and online services more difficult. The notaries were looking for a partner to make the entire communication infrastructure future-proof.
