MKJC fully implemented our vision of a new, internet-capable phone system. The technician replaced the old ISDN/analogue telephone box on the wall with a new, virtual telecommunications server. Now we can make calls across sites via the VPN connection as well. Control via the PC app makes communication easier. It's not only the new technology that impresses us at MKJC, but above all the staff. Mr Michael Jagmohan won us over with his advice and conception. Tobias Jagmohan then advised us competently on site and installed everything flawlessly. Contact with Ms Noack is very friendly, as it is with Mr Pippig, our reliable point of contact in customer service. The applications work exactly as planned and all employees can make calls simultaneously, which the old system did not allow. We are now at a far higher technical level than before and well prepared for the coming years.
Project overview
SL Natursteinvertriebs- und Pflasterbau GmbH is an established construction company with several sites that specialises in natural stone distribution and paving work. With a growing team and increasing project density, the existing telecommunications infrastructure became a bottleneck: the old ISDN and analogue system was technically outdated, did not allow cross-site communication and did not even permit all employees to make calls at the same time.
The challenge
SL Naturstein GmbH operated separate phone systems at its sites that were not connected to one another. Internal calls between sites were cumbersome and costly. At the same time, the old ISDN system was severely limited in capacity: at times of high call volume, not all employees could make calls simultaneously, which led to missed calls. With the impending ISDN switch-off in Germany, a fundamental modernisation was unavoidable.
