We were looking for an IT all-rounder who could provide us with the following: permanent external data backup, an IT network with access for all employees, internet telephony and fast help with all IT problems. With a great deal of expertise, MKJC implemented cloud computing and IP telephony for us and created a shared network. Via the hotline, our contacts – usually Mr Pippig – have always found fast solutions for technical problems. Highly competent and always very friendly! Since we started working with MKJC, the technical problems and failures of the past have decreased significantly, and we are easier to reach. For the future, a quicker response or feedback and implementation for enquiries (new features, changes or quotes) would be ideal.
Project overview
PWS Plan Werk Statt Architekten GmbH is an architecture firm that works with large volumes of data every day – from CAD drawings and 3D models through to extensive project documentation. For an architecture firm, a reliable IT infrastructure is not a luxury but the basis for productive work. When the existing IT landscape increasingly caused problems, PWS was looking for an IT partner who could cover all requirements from a single source.
The challenge
The PWS architecture firm faced several simultaneous IT challenges. The data backup was inadequate: in the event of a server failure, weeks of project work would have been irretrievably lost. The IT network had grown historically and did not give all employees reliable access to shared files. The telephony was outdated and did not meet the requirements of a modern office. The sum of these challenges led to regular technical failures that significantly impaired everyday work.
